What to expect at The Ocean Race Summit Europe virtual event  

The Ocean Race Summit Europe is an online event, which includes interactivity in the Action Lab sessions, Live Q&A’s and provides multiple networking opportunities.

Action Labs

Action Labs are interactive sessions, each focused on a different issue relating to ocean health. Select the session that you would like to join.  

Attending the event 

The Ocean Race Summit Europe is an invite only event. Please do not forward on your invite. Only you will be able to access the Summit via your account. 

Setting up your profile

Please click on your name in the top right of your screen and go to the 'My Profile' section. Here you can add as much or as little information about yourself as you would like. We encourage you to add as much as you can including a headshot, as this will help other attendees find you. 

If you do not want to be contacted

If you do not want anyone to reach out to you, please go to the ‘Attendee’ tab and uncheck the visibility toggle. 

Networking Opportunities 

You can seek out and engage with people in the attendee list by going onto their profile and clicking 'send connection request'. 

Meeting Booking tool

Once you have made a connection, you can schedule meetings with them by clicking on their profile and then ‘book meetings’. Meetings can be conducted via a 1-2-1 chat or group chat, as well as a 1-2-1 video call or group video call. 

Meetings x availability 

Please note as a default all calendars show as having availability, to change this please go to 'MY EVENT' > MY MEETINGS and make yourself unavailable.

Discover your personalized matches

Swapcard's powerful algorithms make suggestions of the most relevant attendees you should meet based on your profile and interests. Find this at the top of the attendee page.

Accessing the live event on 16 June

Please go the 'Watch Live' tab on the homepage. Here you will be able to watch the live event, which will automatically start at 08:00 EDT / 14:00 CET on Wednesday 16th June.

There is an opportunity for anyone who did not register to watch the livestream of the event HERE.
